My Maemo stuff
I'm a happy owner of Nokia N800 and N810 mobile computers. On this page i will gather some info and software regarding Internet Tablet OS called Maemo, both from third parties and from myself.
Tear-Improvements
Tear is the great WebKit-based web-browser for Maemo. It is light and fast and can provide you with more comfortable surfing than bundled MicroB browser.
Unfortunately, developers of Tear were switched to developing version for Maemo 5, which is incompatible with N8x0 tablets.
Tear-Improvements is an effort of mine in collaboration with members of N8XX.com forum, to improve obsolete Tear v0.3.5, fix its bugs, add some features we found to be useful and make our web-surfing experience a bit more enjoyable :)
Before installing, make sure you have Tear 0.3.5 installed. You may get it from its garage page.
